There is an innate drive for wellbeing in all of us, working all the time to try to find balance. 

Sometimes this causes us to make choices or behave in ways that don’t seem so great. 

Nevertheless, it is all a brave effort to meet our needs, find relief and make sense of the world. 

My intention is to create a safe, compassionate, nonjudgmental environment to explore what is happening, to work together to understand your efforts and to find ways to help you move through the world with more ease, confidence and clarity.

I take a holistic approach to wellbeing and consider emotional, social, physical, intellectual, occupational and spiritual dimensions of health. I believe that each of these areas is important to nourish to find balance and invite collaboration with integrative and body-focused practitioners. I may work with you to connect with a nutritionist, a massage therapist, a somatic experiencing practitioner, energy worker or to help you find ways to find peace in spirituality or nature, with respect to your unique values and beliefs.


I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor and Art Therapist and have been working in mental health and social services since 2002. There are many areas with which I have experience and training. However, there are some challenges, such as significant drug or alcohol problems, for which I will recommend either collaboration with another program or provider or will help you find a provider that is a better fit. Please feel free to contact me to discuss your needs in advance of scheduling an initial appointment. I am happy to help you find the resources that meet your needs, even if it is not within my practice.
